The 12th International Conference on Applied Materials and Manufacturing Technology (ICAMMT 2026)
was successfully held in Shenyang, China from May 29 to 31, 2026!

The conference was hosted by Shenyang University of Technology, and co-organized by Northeastern University, Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and shenyang ligong university. More than 200 participants, including experts and scholars, engineering technicians and young students from many universities, research institutes and business circles, conducted high-level and interdisciplinary academic exchanges around advanced manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, advanced materials, additive manufacturing and intelligent sensing, and comprehensively presented the latest research results, core technology breakthroughs and engineering application practices in the field.
The opening ceremony was held in Shenyang University of Technology, presided over by Professor Wu Yusheng, Executive Dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shenyang University of Technology, and Professor Chen Yanming, Vice President, gave the opening speech.
The conference has a main venue and four special sub-venues, and academic exchanges are held around four themes: high-performance nonferrous metals and magnetic materials, advanced materials and intelligent sensing technology, advanced materials and intelligent manufacturing technology, and advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing technology. The conference invited a number of high-level experts at home and abroad to make keynote speeches and invited reports of the branch to share cutting-edge research results and technological progress.
In addition, 20 experts from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Metals, Northeastern University, Jilin University, Liaoning University, Heilongjiang University, Shenyang University of Technology, Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, shenyang ligong university and Shenyang Institute of Automation, China Academy of Sciences, gave special lectures on hot topics such as wetting behavior of metal melt under strong magnetic field, multifunctional absorbing materials, two-dimensional magnetic semiconductors, intelligent measurement and control of precision copper tubes, additive manufacturing of superalloy powder, and laser additive and additive composite manufacturing, with both theoretical depth and engineering content.

The conference set up oral report and poster display, and young scholars and graduate students from many universities and scientific research institutions in China showed the latest research results around micro-control of materials, electromagnetic shielding, corrosion protection, intelligent sensing, advanced manufacturing technology and numerical simulation. Participants fully exchanged and discussed in depth, showing solid scientific research skills and strong innovation vitality, and injecting new impetus into the sustainable development of the discipline.

In order to encourage the advanced, set a benchmark, and inspire the participants' enthusiasm for scientific research and innovation, the conference organizing committee organized the selection of outstanding achievements, selected many awards such as excellent papers, excellent oral reports and excellent poster displays, and held an award ceremony during the conference to award honorary certificates to the winners. The commendation session will further create an academic atmosphere of advocating innovation and pursuing Excellence, and help the growth of young scientific research talents.

The successful holding of this conference has effectively promoted the academic exchange, technical exchange and achievement transformation in the field of advanced manufacturing and materials, injected new kinetic energy into the field of high-end, intelligent, green and high-quality development, and provided strong academic support and technical assistance for the innovative development of advanced manufacturing and new materials industries in Shenyang and even the whole country.
